Justin Cooney
Chief Creative Officer
A seasoned game development manager and creative visionary, Justin's first became interested in gaming and programming when his parents bought a Commodore 64. He would buy the latest BYTE magazine to program in the 'game' that was included in each issue. But he would not stop there. He decided to delve into the programming aspect and actually started to merge many programs into one and became hooked. Aside from his programming endeavors, he loved to play games, tons of them; from the $9.99 ones at K-Mart to any game his friends gave him.
Fast forward to his career, his first gaming post was at Electronic Arts Canada. Long hours did not faze him and he drove his team to success after success, despite the many hurdles of simultaneous projects. Before long, Justin expanded his breath of knowledge by driving business development and product management at Advanced Gravis, Logitech, Kensington, ATI, and finally AMD.
Always deep in content, Justin knew how to maximize opportunities creatively without sacrificing the quality needed and deserved. Justin is always designing games, generating and refining them to deliver the best gaming experience possible. His creative drive and vision are behind the range of design concepts at L337 Media.

Charlie Wallace
CTO, Engineering Development
Active in the games industry for nearly 20 years, Charlie Wallace is a pioneer of software engineering, from his early roots as Head of Amiga Development and Virtual Reality Director, and later as Senior Programmer and Technologist for Universal Studios and Principal Engineer at The 3DO Company. He is an expert in the development of and programming for cross-platform 3D engines.
Having worked on every major console, multiple PC systems, and proprietary machinery, Charlie went to serve as CTO for finiteMonkeys, a mobile developer focused on major brand licenses. Moving into the mobile workspace at finiteMonkeys saw the creation of a sophisticated build engine that allowed cross-language ports of mobile games not by the dozens, but by the hundreds.
Outside of original hardware and software development, Charlie continued to develop new and better foundations for making great games at finiteMonkeys--on all platforms. At L337 Media, Charlie started to challenge himself with a return to writing cross-platform engines, developing a cross-platform engine and tools for the studio.
